Terms for Sale of Foal
Payment plan option as follows:
$1650. total principal and interest with payment plan, (interest is included in the $1650). 25% down payment totaling $412.50. Payments will be $206.25 per month for 6 months. The horse must stay with Pleasure Gait Farms for 2 months while making the first 2 timely payments of $206.25 per month on the purchase price and second months board of $120. ($4. per day for board, but the first month’s board is free, so total monies due for first two months = $206.25 first month and $326.25 second month which includes the board fee of $120.), then the buyer may take possession of the horse. There will be a balance of $825. at this time, payable in 4 monthly payments of $206.25 each.
A late fee of 5% or $10.30 will be due for any payment that is 10 days late.
The $4. per day board fee pays for all general needs of the horse while at Pleasure Gait Farms, including all the feed, regular worming, vaccinations, hoof trimming, exercising and grooming.
Registration papers shall be delivered to the Buyer only upon full payment of all principal, interest and late fees due.
Please note: We can not and do not hold horses from an inquiry or email alone. Horses are only held once the 25% down payment has been received. Please don't feel you have a claim to first rights simply because you have written or called about a horse.
There are times when we have more than one customer interested in the same horse at the same time. As a rule, we do not inform interested parties that someone else has also inquired or is inquiring about the same horse. Why? Because it sounds too much like high pressure salesmanship. In these cases, the first person to meet the full asking price and make the 25% down payment is considered to be the buyer of the horse. If we receive a deposit on a horse that has already been sold to another party then we will gladly refund the deposit.

We do accept personal checks, but all checks must clear our bank before horses leave our farm, (unless horse is under a payment plan contract). There is a $25. bounced check fee charge applied to any check that does not clear our bank. We also accept credit card payments through PayPal. If you are paying by check then please mail it to:
